Mobile Phone news and Info

When Apple designed and released the portable music player called the iPod in 2001, the device was said to have revolutionized the way people listen to music. Some analysts say that the economic stability of a nation can be determined by the suggested retail price of an iPod in that country. Apple was extremely happy with the booming success of their mp3 player, so they decided to combine that with another device many people can’t live without, the mobile phone. Hence, the iPhone was born.

The iPhone was made available in the United States in June 29, 2007. AT&T Mobility, formerly Cingular Wireless, was the service provider lucky enough to win the rights to distributing the unit with their subscription plan. The iPhone comes in two models, the 4GB unit costs $499 and the 8GB unit costs $599. During the launching weekend of the iPhone, Apple reported a total of 270,000 phones sold within 30 hours.

Also known as the Blackberry 8300, this smart phone has a silver and black finish, with soft-grip edges that make it non-slip and comfy to hold. Aside from the fully-functional QWERTY keyboard with spell checker, the Curve is easily navigated with the trackball system. There is also a huge 2.5 inch LCD screen with 65,000 color display and 240 x 320 pixels resolution.
